(NAELA) is an organization made up of attorneys who deal with the legal issues affecting seniors and people with disabilities who are dedicated to improving the quality of legal services provided to seniors and people with special needs. About the Founder:
Michelle R. Wilson
Born and Raised:
Forsyth County, Georgia in the Suwanee, Cumming, and Buford areas.
Education:
- 1997: South Forsyth High, Forsyth County, Georgia
- 2001: Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Information Systems from Southern Wesleyan University, Central, South Carolina
- 2004: Juris Doctorate, University of Georgia School of Law
Experience:
Over 600 cases, clients and families since 2004 in the areas of: probate and estate administration including executor assistance, estate planning, wills, trusts, small business corporations, personal injury, criminal law, divorce, custody, contempt, juvenile criminal charges and deprivation cases, legitimation, expungement of criminal records, materialmen’s liens both enforcement and negotiations, soft tissue personal injury car wreck matters, contract disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, foreclosures, life insurance disputes, and others.
Ms. Wilson began her practice with a small general practice firm in Cumming and was subsequently recruited to work for a top attorney and CLE instructor in Atlanta primarily in domestic matters. After an unfortunate event resulting in a temporary close of his practice, Ms. Wilson assisted a firm on a temporary contract basis in insurance matters involving car accidents and hotels before committing to a year as a public defender for Douglas County. Ms. Wilson has also helped individuals with their estate planning and wealth strategies since 2007 when Wilson Legal was opened on a part-time basis.

Michelle has enjoyed working in her local communities at each juncture of her career.

Michelle lives in Forsyth County and attends Northpoint Church in Alpharetta. She enjoys road and mountain biking, new restaurants/recipes, waterfall “hunting” hikes, being an aunt, boating/water skiing on Lanier (when there’s water) and other miscellaneous adventures.
