Most of us carry questions about death we’ve never known who to ask. What do they do with a pacemaker before cremation? What is it really like when someone passes? How do you know someone is truly gone before they go into the furnace? What does a good death look like — and how do the families who were present describe it afterward? On November 1 — Día de los Muertos — we answer every one of them.

Hosted at Ingram’s Funeral Home and presented by Wilson Legal, Death Day is an open community event where curiosity meets education and conversation replaces fear. It is part open house, part healing space, part community gathering — and entirely unlike anything you’ve attended before.
