Most of our clients have limited experience with attorneys, and it’s quite normal to feel apprehensive about meeting with a lawyer. If you’ve taken the next step and signed up for a first session with Wilson Legal, you can expect:
- A comfortable and welcoming environment. We will greet you warmly, offer you water or coffee, and invite you to chat so that we can get to know you better.
- Starting with the right questions. We are a “service above self” law firm which means we look for your best interests first and not ours. We want what is best for you whether that means you hire us to help with probate or we find out you actually don’t need us for probate because it is not required. If you don’t need us for probate help, then we can talk about your estate plan and how you want to protect your loved ones after you have departed this life. We can help you avoid probate too!
- A complete review of your personal information form. Before you come in, we’re going to ask that you complete a form that will capture important details like your contact information and a summary of as many financial details as you can provide. If you don’t have the form, don’t miss your meeting. Come anyway. We’ll get you the form you need to get started.
- An actionable list of tasks. When you leave our office, you’re going a have a list of tasks to do – these are things you can get started with right away. These are not busy work tasks. These are tasks that help you whether you hire us right away or not.
- Transparency about legal fees. Our pricing is explained during your discovery call or strategy session and is not based on how much money you have. We base our pricing on the value you receive and the work our team puts into each plan or project. We re-evaluate our pricing for services each year to make sure you are receiving great value for your investment.
